Mykhailo Medvediev

Obstetrician-Gynecologist in Ukraine | Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor | Honored Doctor of Ukraine

In 2016, Dr. Medvediev founded Gynecology.com.ua, an educational platform that has delivered more than 250 events for physicians. In 2018, he founded Dr. Medvedev’s Clinic, which focuses on gynecology and reproductive medicine. In 2025, he opened a second clinic location with inpatient units, operating rooms, and an assisted reproductive technology (ART) program.

Since September 1, 2025, Dr. Medvediev has headed the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Dnipro State Medical University in Ukraine. He has authored more than 250 scientific publications.

International experience

I have conducted live surgical demonstrations and master classes in gynecologic surgery, and delivered lectures and presentations throughout my specialty. This work has enabled me to collaborate and exchange knowledge with medical professionals across Ukraine and internationally.

In Ukraine, I have delivered lectures or participated in professional events in many cities, including:
Kyiv, Dnipro, Bucha, Irpin, Kharkiv, Odesa, Lviv, Zaporizhzhia, Kryvyi Rih, Kremenchuk, Poltava, Kropyvnytskyi, Luhansk, Vinnytsia, Sudak, Chernivtsi, and many other large and small cities across the country.

Internationally, I have lectured or participated in professional events in Prague (Czech Republic), New York (USA), Paris and Strasbourg (France), Cologne, Hamburg, Berlin, and Munich (Germany), Vienna and Salzburg (Austria), Barcelona and Mallorca (Spain), Florence (Italy), Budapest (Hungary), Geneva and Montreux (Switzerland), Brussels (Belgium), Istanbul (Turkey), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Aktau, Pavlodar, Uralsk, and Almaty (Kazakhstan), Helsinki (Finland), among other cities.

1998

In my third year of medical school, I decided to become an obstetrician-gynecologist

2000

Clinical internship at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center (OLMMC), New York, USA – 3.5 months

2001

Graduated with honors from the Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy

2006

Earned a PhD in Medicine after defending a dissertation

2013

Earned the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences

Was awarded a grant from the Open Society Foundations and successfully completed a workshop in reproductive medicine, Salzburg, Austria
